Winter Pear Camembert Salad
- 5 oz Mixed organic greens
- 2-3 fresh ripe but firm Golden Bartlett Pears & Red Pears, slice bite sized (to keep from browning, gently toss with a magic mix of 1/8 C rice vinegar mixed with 1/4 C water, and 2 Tbsp honey), pour off. Keep mix in fridge for apples & beets!
- 3 oz wheel of Alemar Cheese Co.’s Apricity Camembert Cheese, frozen & set out for 15 minutes before preparing salad
- 1 1/2 C Hazelnuts, toasted & salted
- 1 Bottle Salad Girl Organic Pomegranate & Pear Vinaigrette
To Prepare Salad: Arrange fresh greens upon a pretty salad plate, platter or in a bowl. Grate Apricity over greens, decorate with pears, and sprinkle with hazelnuts. Just before serving, drizzle with Salad Girl’s Pomegranate Pear Organic Vinaigrette.
